Roles and Impact
A snapshot of the institutions Neisha has worked with and what she's contributed to each. From foundations to governments to NGOs.
Mission 44 is the international foundation established by Sir Lewis Hamilton to support young people from underrepresented backgrounds. As the youngest advisor in its inaugural cohort, Neisha led development of a £450K pilot fund strategy, conducting a national survey of 2,000+ respondents and synthesising qualitative and quantitative data to deliver actionable recommendations. She directed high-profile events including a 200+ attended student summit and a fundraising gala, built a learning framework and three iterations of a theory of change with evaluation partners, and led a participatory review through stakeholder consultations, focus groups, and 1:1 interviews.
Youth Advisor (2023-2026)United Nations
Neisha served as the UK Government's Senior Youth Delegate to the 58th and 59th sessions of the United Nations Commission on Population and Development. She co-authored and delivered the UK's National Statement, advised the government on global health and women’s rights, and wrote interventions drawn from global consultations. She analysed policy positions across 47 countries for strategy and shaped agreed language with a global coalition of 100+ organisations — with her recommendations directly impacting UK and EU negotiations. Her legacy consists of her successful recommendation to introduce a senior-junior youth delegate scheme - making her the first youth delegate to hold the position for 2 years.
UK Government Youth Delegate (2025-2026)
Education Council Member (2024-2025)Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office
Neisha led five multi-stakeholder consultations on girls' education in development contexts with senior UK government officials. Her insights were synthesised into strategic recommendations that influenced national education priorities, were adopted in government briefing notes, and shaped international dialogues. She provided pre-conference advisory support to government delegations, contributing research and recommendations that informed funding commitments and the creation of a taskforce on child protection.
Youth Advisor (2023-2025)Plan International is one of the world's largest girls' rights organisations. As a Youth Advisor, Neisha engaged in national and international projects through training, events, and consultancy roles working across strategy, youth participation, and policy. She contributed to reports including the State of Girls' Rights Report and enabled young people's meaningful participation in political processes — including an event on the UK Aid Budget where she delivered training and supported youth to lobby MPs directly against a proposed policy change.
